Humanimal Trust and UTOMIC announce partnership

Humanimal Trust is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Utrecht Translational One Medicine Innovation Centre (UTOMIC) at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, working to further medical progress for human and animal patients, with the shared goal of making animal testing obsolete in human and veterinary medicine through collaboration.

‘We are very excited to be working with the team at UTOMIC, whose thoughts and ideas so closely align with our own at Humanimal Trust,’ comments Joe Bailey, CEO of Humanimal Trust. ‘There are so many opportunities for us to work together ranging from research funding, collaboration projects, education events, and more. We’re really looking forward to working with them and exploring our joint potential to achieve more widespread influence, and therefore achieve a greater impact.’

Beatrix Forster, UTOMIC Coordinator at the University of Utrecht, added, ‘This partnership represents the growing nature of One Medicine thinking internationally, and we invite others to join our network and community, to drive momentum for more ethical research and treatments for diseases and conditions that affect animals as well as humans.’

Further details of forthcoming partnership activities will be available soon. More information relating to the team at UTOMIC and their work please visit: https://utomic.nl/.
