World Day for Laboratory Animals 2024

Millions of laboratory animals suffer and lose their lives in the pursuit of medical advancements, which is a heartbreaking reality.

As compassionate individuals, we believe there is a better way to improve human and animal health that doesn't involve inducing diseases in healthy animals. We, at Humanimal Trust, are dedicated to finding innovative solutions and modern techniques that mimic animal experiments but with greater success and relevance to the studied species. These alternatives, known as non-animal methods (NAMs), include cutting-edge technologies such as organ on a-chip and in silico AI evaluation. By combining NAMs with the study of naturally occurring diseases, we can deliver reliable and more realistic research that will provide better solutions for all human or animal patients.

We believe in One Medicine, where human and veterinary professionals collaborate to develop drugs and techniques that ease the suffering of shared diseases, such as cancer, for all patients, regardless of species.

On this day, we remember the animals in laboratories, and it serves as a reminder that we can bring about change in thinking and practices. Please help us deliver One Medicine and give hope to all patients tomorrow by donating to Humanimal Trust here: https://humanimaltrust.enthuse.com/Donate#!/

Together, we can create a better future for all patients, saving patients' lives and sparing the lives of laboratory animals.
