Park School Pupils fundraising for Humanimal Trust

Pupils at Park School for Girls in Ilford were visited last month by Jo Blake, from  Humanimal Trust, and Sergio the greyhound  after successfully raising over £1300 for Humanimal Trust as their chosen Charity of the Year.

Head Girl, Alisha, and her Deputy, Hafsa, returned to Park School to hand over the cheque with funds raised as they wanted to support an organisation that helped both humans and animals.

Jo Blake said ‘We’re absolutely thrilled at the fundraising efforts of the team at Park School and really couldn’t be more grateful for their very generous support, raising a whopping £1324.66. It’s been really lovely to be able to meet so many of the pupils and be able to tell them all about how the funds they have helped raise will be used to support human and animal health worldwide.’

Park School Head Teacher, Catherine Redfern, added, ‘Park School pupils are known for their fundraising efforts, and this last academic year has been no exception. We are very proud to have raised such an impressive amount for Humanimal Trust, and I congratulate Alisha and Hafsa on the results they achieved from their hard work organising our fundraising activities.’

Thank you from everyone here at Humanimal Trust!!
