Christmas is coming...!

Christmas this year is somewhat different for us all, so we’ve worked to find fun ways to support One Medicine at this time in a variety of ways, bringing festive cheer to the end of what has been a challenging year, and one that has demonstrated the urgent need for a One Medicine approach to create a fairer world for humans and animals everywhere.

From nominating Humanimal Trust as part of Ecclesiastical Insurance’s 12 Days of Giving, to supporting us through Amazon Smile, Easyfundraising or Giveasyoulive whilst you buy gifts for loved ones, you can support Humanimal Trust at no cost to you. Or, if you’re considering sending cards, don’t forget our lovely new range of e-cards available for a donation of your choice on dontsendmeacard.com, perhaps making a gift donation, or checking out our lovely merchandise clothing range with a new design launched earlier this year at the Simple Design Company.

We’ve teamed up with RoundUps, an app that rounds up card purchase costs to give small donations each time you shop, and if you’re remembering good times with those who are sadly no longer with us, why not make a donation to celebrate their memory, perhaps adding a lovely photo to our virtual memory garden.

The Big Christmas Give goes live on Tuesday 1 December and runs until midday on Tuesday 8 December, with all donations up to our target being doubled for twice the impact! Should we beat our target, the more funds we raise as part of the campaign, the more chance we have of securing extra funds from the Big Give to support our project ‘Inspiring the next generation,’ our One Medicine education programme.

And for those who oversee their work Christmas party, why not encourage your organisation to be #XmasPartyHeroes this year, and donate the cost of your Christmas party in support of One Medicine, or perhaps the cost of your Secret Santa gifts?

Work for Good’s #SmallBusinessStar campaign sees all donations from small businesses donated via their platform doubled whilst match funds allow throughout December - and whilst we’re talking about Santa, how about some socially distanced Santa fundraising (local restrictions allowing)? The more the merrier with this year’s virtual My Santa Run as part of the One Medicine Wonders team...!

There are so many ways to support Humanimal Trust this Christmas, and there is much work to be done to make One Medicine a reality.

Thank you very much for your support this year, and as we move forward, beyond 2020.

Together we can save time, save money, and save lives.
