Christopher Lloyd becomes our very first Patron

We are delighted to announce that world history author and storyteller, Christopher Lloyd, has become a Patron of Humanimal Trust.

We have worked closely with Christopher in recent years, after discovering our shared appreciation for all species.

Christopher began his career as a journalist. He now runs two highly successful publishing companies, both of which he personally founded. What on Earth Publishing focusses on non-fiction books for children up to the age of 16 and What an Earth Magazine is a monthly non-fiction magazine for children aged six to 12.

Humanimal: Incredible Ways Animals are Just Like Us!, authored by Christopher, takes young readers aged seven to 12 on a journey of discovery and appreciation of all the ways animals are just like humans.

Following its success, we are over the moon that a second book, entitled We Are All Animals, will be available to buy exclusively from Humanimal Trust from September. Once again, Christopher has teamed up with hugely talented illustrator, Mark Ruffle, to bring the close relationship between humans and animals to life, connecting them in weird and wonderful ways.

Christopher lives in Kent with his wife and two dogs, and divides his time between writing books and delivering lectures and workshops at schools, literary festivals and other venues around the world.

Christopher said: “I’m delighted to be a Patron of Humanimal Trust who are working towards One Medicine, where animals and humans with the same illness or disease can also share the advances in medical knowledge to relieve their suffering.Animals are so much like us, we have so much in common.”
